“I joined Hiedi’s squad at a somewhat low point during the first lockdown, I was eating unhealthy 24/7, barely moving through the day and generally felt so sluggish. It was difficult for me because I am so used to training at the gym and keeping on track with pursuing my goals having previously lost 4 stone by myself. I am so glad I decided to join, as my energy levels feel crazy, and I always look forward to Hiedi’s workouts! They push me to my absolute limits, and I always end up feeling amazing after a good session. “I started working with Hiedi before she transitioned online and I had in-person PT sessions with her, I’ve always had the bug for exercise but Hiedi’s advice and guidance meant that I started training properly, and in a way that I needed to for my goals. She has taught me about performing exercise techniques correctly, which is so important for all of us, no matter our goals. I am always now conscious of my posture and form when training. “Well, where do I start… I wanted to start exercising to get in shape for my wedding that should’ve gone ahead in September 2020, but that was cancelled (COVID) which I chose to see as a good thing as I now had a real opportunity to start my fitness journey in preparation for my wedding in May 2021. I watched Hiedi for ages on Instagram, but I just felt really nervous to start. I finally took the plunge, and attended one of her fitness classes… I instantly caught the bug. “Firstly… Please don’t hesitate to approach Hiedi, she is totally non-judgemental, and only strives to help! I have just finished 4 weeks of online coaching with Hiedi and would highly recommend it! Hiedi was there throughout to support me and answer any questions so I never felt that I was on my own. The plans were completely tailored to suit me, my lifestyle and what I enjoy, rather than just having to follow a generic “one size fits all” plan that isn’t realistic. I chose foods that I liked from a long list, so there was plenty of choice (and I could indicate any dietary requirements too!) I really enjoyed trying some new foods, and I genuinely felt the benefit of eating healthier foods and the right nutrients. The training plan was also catered to me, in that I could choose how many times a week I workout and where (gym or at home). All the workouts came with demo videos to ensure they were done properly so as to not cause injury. I checked in weekly with Hiedi and always received a positive, constructive response. “When I first started the squad in April 2020, I was 13 stone. I wasn’t eating well at all, and I didn’t feel myself. Lockdown was really difficult for me, mentally. My eating habits were awful, so changing that was a big deal for me as I always ‘ate my feelings’. Now, in October 2020, I weigh a stone lighter. I am so much happier and more confident in myself! “Where do I begin? The day I joined the HJ squad was the day I took control of my life.
